Congress will contest DDC polls with Gupkar alliance: JandK unit chief

Following a meeting at NC chief Farooq Abdullah's residence on upcoming District Development Council polls, JandK Congress chief GA Mir informed that the party will contest the civil elections with PAGD (People's Alliance for Gupkar Declaration) which consists of PDP, NC and other regional parties.

"Alliance of JandK National Conference, Congress, PDP and others will contest District Development Council (DDC) poll.

We'll try to defeat those who've been forcefully implementing Acts and laws in UT and policies which doesn't seem to be in favour of people here," said GA Mir.
