Couple use paddling pool to keep up swimming during lockdown

Carole Stagg and her partner David have come up with an ingenious way of staying fit during lockdown from the comfort of their own garden. The keen swimmers filled a paddling pool full of water, then using a bungee and a piece of rope tied to the garden fence, they created a resistance mechanism which holds them in place whilst they exercise. With swimming pools and lidos closed, they swim for about 10 minutes each day, an activity not for the faint hearted given England's recent weather. Report by Thomasl.
