A life coach has shared a remarkable, no-holds-barred video diary of hercancer journey - from diagnosis to having a third of her tongue cut out andlearning to talk again.

Filming everything from her intimate thoughts beforeand after diagnosis to graphic scenes straight after surgery, mother-of-twoAnnabel Lovick, 48, has given a candid insight into the treatment for mouthcancer, which affects just 8,300 people annually in the UK, according to theNHS.

Only one in eight of those affected are under the age of 50.

Annabel, ofBromley, south-east London, now wants to promote the positive mental attitudethat got her through.

She said: “For me, cancer is not a label, a stigma or awarrior’s badge - it’s a reminder and a wake-up call.
