Union Minister Sanjeev Balyan faced wrath in Bhainswal village of Uttar Pradesh during his visit on February 23. He said, "10-12 family members of a Samajwadi Party candidate misbehaved with me in Bhainswal. 5-6 Lok Dal workers did same when I was in Soram to attend a function. After I left, a clash erupted. The announcements were made from mosque to unite against me."
"Opposition has no valid points and they are upset. Therefore they are speaking false statements," replied Uttar Pradesh Deputy Chief Minister Dinesh Sharma to Samajwadi chief Akhilesh Yadav's remark on Chief Minister Yogi Adityanath government. "Work done by CM Yogi Adityanath in last 4 yrs is more than work done b/w 2003-2017 by BSP or SP. This is a government which supports 'anndata'," he added. Further comparing Uttar Pardesh with America, Dinesh Sharma said that the state tackled the pandemic far better than the world leader America.
The budget session of the Uttar Pradesh Assembly started off on a stormy note with Samajwadi Party MLAs creating ruckus and shouting slogans against the government. The SP legislators, who were holding posters against inflation, rising fuel prices, plight of farmers, walked out from the house during Governor Anandiben Patel’s address. Targeting Uttar Pradesh Chief Minister Yogi Adityanath over his language, Samajwadi party Chief Akhilesh Yadav said that the kind of language Yogi Adityanath uses on stages or in the House is used by no other Chief Minister. He further asked the Chief Minister to tell full form of DNA on his remark where he said that these people have 'division' in their DNA.

"The nation attained independence through agitation. Innumerable rights were received through agitation. Women received the right to vote through agitation. Mahatama Gandhi became the father of the nation because he agitated for Africa, the world and the nation," said Yadav.
