Many serving officers of Rajputana Rifles paid homage to slain soldiers on the Remembrance Day.
November 25 is observed as the Remembrance Day every year to pay homage to the immortal soldiers of the regiment, who lost their lives during World War II.
The Union Home Ministry has directed a phased closure of two special and temporary COVID care centres in the city in view of "continuous decline" in coronavirus cases, officials said on Tuesday. While the Sardar Vallabh Bhai Patel COVID hospital located in the Delhi Cantonment area is managed by the DRDO, the Sardar Patel COVID Care Centre operational in south Delhi's Chhattarpur area is managed by the ITBP. Indian Army organised an event âUmeed Ki Seharâ at Uri in J&Kâs Baramulla. Bollywood celebrities Vicky Kaushal and Sonal Chauhan attended the one-day cultural event. Uzbekistan Army contingent arrived in Delhi on March 08 for Indo-Uzbek Joint Exercise Dustlik-ll. Rezang La Battalion Kharga Warriors representing Indian Army in exercise. The joint exercise is based on counter terrorist operations and enhancing military cooperation. The second edition of joint military exercise Dustlik-II will be held from March 10 to 19.

Bollywood stars lauded Indian Army's efforts to bridge the gap between 'Jawan aur Awaam'.
Education Secreary Gavin Williamson spoke to Tom Swarbrick on LBC and said there will be a similar level of transformation after lockdown, "a little bit like after the Second World War".

Hundreds of residents from properties surrounding the site where a Second World War German bomb was detonated remain unable to return to their homes.The device, believed to be a 1,000kg âHermannâ bomb used by the Nazis, was discovered on a building site on private land to the west of the University of Exeter campus on Friday.Initially, a 100-metre cordon was erected, but this was extended to 400 metres on Saturday at the request of the Royal Navy bomb disposal team.
