Restrictions under Section 144 of CrPC imposed in Hanuman Ganj, Teela Jamalpura and Gautam Nagar police stations in Bhopal. Under this section, gathering of more than 5 people at a place is prohibited. This step was taken after administration anticipated disruption of law and order due to start of construction activity by 'a particular community' in old Bhopal. On Jan 15, President Ram Nath Kovind made the first contribution towards the construction of Ram Mandir, which is to be built in UP's Ayodhya. Vishva Hindu Parishad (VHP) working president, Alok Kumar said, "He is the first citizen of the country so we went to him to initiate this drive. He donated a sum of Rs 5,01,000." Meanwhile, Madhya Pradesh Chief Minister Shivraj Singh Chouhan also made the contribution for construction of Ram Mandir. He handed over a cheque of Rs 1 lakh to a leader of Vishva Hindu Parishad. He said, "I am grateful to be part of such mission." Ram Mandir is to be built at the site of Ram Janmabhoomi in UP's Ayodhya.
Madhya Pradesh Chief Minister Shivraj Singh Chouhan said that both Covaxin and Covishield have been properly tested. He said, "Our scientists have tested them on all parameters and only then it has been decided to use them. Both the vaccines are safe and have no difference. Both of them will build immunity and antibodies." "But the antibodies will not develop immediately after vaccination. The second dose will be administered 28 days after the first dose and 14 days after it the antibodies will develop. Two doses are necessary," he added.
