Thousands of fans took to the streets of Buenos Aires and Naples to pay their tributes to Diego Maradona.
The Argentinian football legend died after suffering a heart attack at the age of 60.
His body will lie in state for three days inside Casa Rosada, Argentina’s presidential palace, as the country announced three days of national mourning.
A minute of silence to honour his memory will also take place before the start of all European fixtures this week.

A Ramanathapuram-based bakery paid tribute to the late legendary football player, Diego Maradona. Bakery owner made a 6-foot tall cake of Maradona and placed it outside the shop. The 6-foot tall cake has become a public attraction, as people are visiting the shop to get clicked with the cake. Diego Maradona, who made his country, Argentina, win the FIFA world cup in 1986, passed away on November 25.

The keen swimmers filled a paddling pool full of water, then using a bungee and a piece of rope tied to the garden fence, they created a resistance mechanism which holds them in place whilst they exercise. With swimming pools and lidos closed, they swim for about 10 minutes each day, an activity not for the faint hearted given England's recent weather.

More than 100,000 people in the UK have died within 28 days of testing positive for coronavirus since the pandemic began, according to the Government's measure of the death toll. During a Downing Street briefing, Boris Johnson said it is "hard to compute the sorrow contained in that grim statistic". Identical twins Alex and Sebastian were born at just 27 weeks in the middle of the first lockdown. Due to coronavirus restrictions, they ended up spending more than 130 days apart when one had to stay in hospital and the other was sent home. Alex initially needed the help of a ventilator and Seb needed urgent treatment for a heart condition and brain haemorrhage. Only one parent at a time was allowed to visit Sebastian in hospital, whilst Alex had to stay at home. Five months on and nine operations later, the boys are back together and their parents, Liz and Ben Hession, are delighted.
