India's covid tally on rise with 41,810 cases and 496 deaths recorded in last 24 hours|Oneindia News

Coronavirus cases in India are steadily on the rise with 41,810 new infections in the last 24 hours taking the tally to 93,92,919.

There were 496 deaths recorded in the last 24 hours.

There are over 4.53 active cases in the country.

Over 42,000 people recovered from the deadly disease in the last 24 hours taking the total recoveries to over 88 lakhs.

India's COVID-19 tally had crossed the 70 lakh on October 11, 80 lakh on October 29, and surpassed 90 lakh on November 20.

Kerala reported the highest number of cases among all states in the last 24 hours with 6,250 infections.

The most affected state remains Maharashtra with over 18 lakh infections.

The state recorded over 5,900 cases in the last 24 hours.

After a rise in Covid-19 cases in Dehradun, the Uttarakhand Police on Saturday announced that a coronavirus test is mandatory for entering Uttarakhand.
