Ramveer Tanwar gave up his profession as an engineer and decided to clean the ponds in the country.

He is known as the Pondman of India.

He is the founder of NGO Say Earth and is an Environmentalist & TEDx Speaker.

He has been passionate about water conservation since his student life.

He believes that restoring a waterbody gives a new life to the birds and another source of clean drinking water to the villagers.

In a special conversation with Oneindia English, he tells that initially he had to face a lot of challenges.

It was difficult to win trust of the people he was working with.

He says that to clean a pond requires permission from the Government and is a tedious task.

Therefore an online system for this must be introduced.

Ramveer now has the support of various Corporates and even the Government.
