As a COVID vaccine will soon become a reality in India, GMR Hyderabad air cargo and Delhi Airport's air cargo are set to play a pivotal role in the distribution of vaccines through state-of-the-art time and temperature-sensitive distribution system.
Prime Minister Narendra Modi on December 04 announced that a COVID vaccine will likely be ready in few weeks, and after the approval of scientists, public vaccination will begin on large scale.
Thousands of farmers, who left from Nashik and other parts of the country on January 23, have reached Mumbai on January 24. Under the aegis of the All India Kisan Sabha's (AIKS) Maharashtra unit, these farmers are marching to join the statewide Vehicle March to Mumbai. They have camped at Azad Maidan. The massive rally is a part of the call given by the Samyukta Kisan Morcha (SKM), which is leading the protests in Delhi, to intensify and broaden the struggle from January 23 to 26.
A full dress rehearsal was conducted in Bhubaneswar ahead of the Republic Day celebrations on January 26. Even though the main parade takes place in the national capital - Delhi, respective events take place in every state with officers of the three services showcasing their strength.

'Jai Hind' means every Indian's 'Jai ho' which is possible when their needs are taken care of, they are fed properly, have clothing and don't face discrimination." "Nation doesn't mean geographical boundaries, everything in the nation, their welfare, is nationalism. Ours is a glorious civilization which embodies value of share and care. Our forefathers have given to us philosophy of 'world is one family'," he added.
Speaking to ANI in Hyderabad on January 23, the Health Medical and Family Welfare Minister of Telangana, Eatala Rajender spoke on COVID- 19 vaccination drive. Rajender said, "The COVID-19 vaccine is 99% safe and it is important to get vaccinated. I believe that everyone will come forward for it in coming days."

It has been launched to identify and contain the new mutant variant of COVID-19. The number of persons found infected with the mutant UK strain of COVID-19 rose to 109.
The first consignment of 'Covaxin', the COVID-19 vaccine by Hyderabad-based Bharat Biotech arrived at Delhi's Indira Gandhi International Airport on Jan 13. Three boxes of 'Covaxin' are also being taken to Kurukshetra in Haryana from Delhi airport. The COVID vaccination drive will start in India from Jan 16.
On January 12, the COVID-19 vaccine 'Covishield' arrived to Delhi's Indira Gandhi International Airport. It was dispatched by Pune's Serum Institute of India today. CEO of Delhi International Airport (DIAL), Videh Kumar Jaipuriar said, "Temperature-controlled facility, ranging from -20 degrees Celsius to +25 degrees Celsius, at our two Cargo terminals can efficiently and safely handle COVID-19 vaccines. Both terminals can handle around 5.7 million vials in a day." The first consignment of vaccine will also arrive to Gujarat's Ahmedabad. The Additional Director of Family Welfare Department of Gujarat, Dr Nilam Patel said, "2.76 lakh doses arriving here today will be given to Ahmedabad, Gandhinagar and Bhavnagar zones." The COVID-19 vaccination drive will start in India from Jan 16.
Congress leader Rahul Gandhi targeted Rashtriya Swayamsevak Sangh (RSS) in Tamil Nadu’s Tiruppur. Gandhi is leading the Congress party’s campaign ahead of state elections. Gandhi called RSS 'knickerwallahs', a reference to their old uniform. Congress is invoking 'Tamil pride' to defeat AIADMK-BJP combine. Congress will contest elections in alliance with DMK. “We will not allow Narendra Modi to destroy the foundation of India...He doesn't understand that only Tamil people can decide the future of Tamil Nadu.
