How Delhi, Hyderabad airports will ensure speedy distribution of COVID vaccines
As a COVID vaccine will soon become a reality in India, GMR Hyderabad air cargo and Delhi Airport's air cargo are set to play a pivotal role in the distribution of vaccines through state-of-the-art time and temperature-sensitive distribution system.
Prime Minister Narendra Modi on December 04 announced that a COVID vaccine will likely be ready in few weeks, and after the approval of scientists, public vaccination will begin on large scale.

Thousands of farmers, who left from Nashik and other parts of the country on January 23, have reached Mumbai on January 24. Speaking to ANI in Hyderabad on January 23, the Health Medical and Family Welfare Minister of Telangana, Eatala Rajender spoke on COVID- 19 vaccination drive. Rajender said, "The COVID-19 vaccine is 99% safe and it is important to get vaccinated. I believe that everyone will come forward for it in coming days."

Both terminals can handle around 5.7 million vials in a day." The first consignment of vaccine will also arrive to Gujarat's Ahmedabad. The Additional Director of Family Welfare Department of Gujarat, Dr Nilam Patel said, "2.76 lakh doses arriving here today will be given to Ahmedabad, Gandhinagar and Bhavnagar zones." The COVID-19 vaccination drive will start in India from Jan 16.
