Senator Warner said that India has shown a lot of restraint in dealing with terrorism.
He further added that many terror organizations have received safe haven in Pakistan.
Senator Warner also spoke on US decision to reduce troops in Afghanistan and added that those who sided with the US in the battle against terror groups in the country have been left in the lurch by the Trump administration’s decision.

Speaking to ANI in Srinagar on January 17, GOC of Chinar Corps, Lieutenant General BS Raju said, "Terrorists' recruitment in 2020 was fairly in control, especially when compared to 2018. The present strength of terrorists in the Valley is 217 which is lowest in the last one decade."
Terrorists attacked a joint party of Police and Central Reserve Police Force (CRPF) on December 06. The incident took place at Sazgaripora, Hawal in Srinagar. One Police personnel and a civilian got injured in the attack. The area has been cordoned off.
Chhattisgarh Chief Minister Bhupesh Baghel accused BJP of maligning any sort of protests. Baghel said that BJP called them Pakistani, Khalistani and even alleged them of being middleman's broker, but they won't be successful in their attempts in suppressing farmers. CM Bhupesh Baghel said, "Whenever there's a protest, BJP tries to malign it. As for protesting farmers, sometimes they (BJP) called them Pakistani or Khalistani. They even alleged that farmers are middleman's broker. NIA's notice has also been sent to the houses of the protesting farmers. Regardless of their attempts to suppress, farmers won't be scared."
Placards of PM Modi and several other world leaders were seen at a pro-freedom rally organised in Sann area of Pakistan’s Sindh. The rally had been organised on the birth anniversary of GM Syed, one of the founding fathers of modern Sindh nationalism. Protesters said that Sindh had been illegally handed over to Pakistan in 1947 and raised slogans for Sindhudesh. There are several nationalist parties in Sindh, who are advocating for a free Sindh nation at various international platforms.
