Observers from the US, UK, Turkey and Saudi Arabia also participated. The multilateral UN-mandated counterterrorism exercise was held from April 4-12. The Indian Army contingent that participated comprised of 30 personnel. Indian Army chief Gen M M Naravane attended the closing ceremony of the exercise. A 10-day multinational military exercise named 'Shantir Ogrosena' in which troops of four countries including India, Bangladesh, Bhutan and Sri Lanka participated, culminated on April 12 in Bangladesh. The exercise also included observers from the US, UK, Turkey and Saudi Arabia and others. The exercise from April 4-12, was organised to pay tribute to Bangabandhu Sheikh Mujibur Rahman on his birth centenary and celebrate the golden jubilee of the liberation of Bangladesh. The aim of the exercise was to strengthen defence ties and enhance interoperability amongst neighbourhood countries to ensure effective peacekeeping operations, the Indian Army said on April 12.

This eco-floating hotel generates it's energy from rotating in the ocean. Designed, by Hayri Atak Architectural Design Studio (HAADS). The luxury hotel is a project hoping to be opened in Qatar, it's unusual moving feature generates electrical energy by rotating according to the water current. It also provides its guests with different perspective experiences. The rotation action moves slowly so as to not make guests dizzy and takes 24 hours to complete a full turn. Access to the hotel itself would be gained by a pier connected to the shore, or by helicopter or boat. Its interior would be centered around a lobby, with its 152 hotel rooms boasting luxury amenities.
