Dargah of Hazrat Sayyed Buland Saha serving as symbol of religious harmony

Situated in the Jajpur district of Odisha, the shrine of Sufi Saint Sayyed Buland Saha Baba Alaihir Rahmah has served as a cynosure of communal harmony for generations which is thronged by devotees every day, irrespective of their religion.

Regarded as one the greatest Sufi saints, Hazrat Sayyed Baba Alaihir Rahman throughout his life spread the message of Sufism and peace.

Devotees of different faiths, especially Hindus and Muslims visit the Dargah of this great saint who propagated the teachings of oneness and communal harmony.

Coming from far and wide, devotees attend prayers at the Dargah to seek the blessings of holy saint.

According to a legend, Baba Buland Shah used to reside in a hut near a banyan tree in Jajpur and was looked after by a Hindu milkman.

Later, on his demise, the place was turned into Baba's Dargah which is revered by Hindus and Muslims and devotees of all religions.

It is believed that Saint fulfills the wishes of all and nobody returns empty handed from here.

Since ages, the Sufi Saints like Sayyed Buland Saha Baba Alaihir Rahmah have propagated the message of spiritualism and harmony in our country and their teachings are still playing a significant role in strengthening the thread of secularism.
