13-year-old allegedly raped in MP's Betul, accused arrested

In a heinous crime, a 13-year-old girl was allegedly raped by a man in Madhya Pradesh's Betul district.

After raping the victim, the accused also allegedly tried to bury her alive in a pit.

"Case has been registered under relevant sections of IPC, SC/ST Act and POCSO Act.

The accused has been arrested," a police official said.
