"I've been listening to statements of BJP and Congress, over past few days after the results (of Gujarat municipality elections). They're perturbed, a little scared. We have to understand that they're not scared of you or AAP. They're scared of people who voted for you," said Arvind Kejriwal. ."

Farmer leaders and representatives held a meeting with Agriculture Minister Narendra Singh Tomar and other ministers over farm laws. The meeting was held at Vigyan Bhawan. This is the 11th round of meeting between farmer leaders and Centre. In 10th round of meeting on January 20, Centre proposed to suspend the farm laws for one and a half years. Farmers are firm on their demand for a complete repeal of the farm laws.
The tenth round of talks between farmer unions and Central government over the three farm laws concluded at Vigyan Bhawan in Delhi on January 20. General secretary of All India Kisan Sabha Hannan Mollah, said, "Government said that it is ready to file an affidavit in the court to the effect that it would put the implementation of the laws on hold for one and half a year. They also said that a committee would be formed on MSP and the laws and they would implement the recommendations of the committee. We'll hold a meeting tomorrow and take a decision on the proposal." He also said, "We asked government to withdraw the fake cases registered by NIA against farmers. In response, government said they are looking into the matter and asked us to provide the names of leaders against whom new cases, if any, have been registered." The next round of the meeting will take place on January 22. The farmers are protesting against new farm laws since November 26, 2020 at Delhi borders.
While addressing the public gathering at Pusa Krishi Vigyan Mela 2021 in New Delhi on February 25, Union Agriculture Minister Narendra Singh Tomar said, "In democracy, a government can never dare to make such a law that will harm farmers."

A suicide attempt was made on a railway track at Mumbai’s Virar station. A man attempted suicide as he was distressed by the death of his mother. The man walked towards a railway track; spread a sheet and lied down on it. As seen in the CCTV footage, he lied down while a local train was approaching towards him. An alert railway police officer was seen running towards the man on the railway track. With some help, the officer rescued him seconds before being mowed to death.
