Union minister Ravi Shankar Prasad said that his Cabinet colleagues had decided to pay for Covid-19 vaccine. The announcement came on the day that India expanded the inoculation drive to include those aged above 60 years, and those aged 45+ with comorbidities. "Our numbers in the Panchayat election have increased to 56%, in the coming time it will cross 60%," she said.

Tableau displayed culture and communal harmony besides art, architecture, festivals, literature and music. The end of the trailer shows Gurdwara Sri Rakab Ganj Sahib, the site of cremation of Guru Tegh Bahadur. Designed after the theme 'Ayodhya, Uttar Pradesh's tableau also displayed the auspicious Ram Mandir. The forepart of the middle tableau shows Deepotsava of Ayodhya, in which millions of earthen lamps were lit.
