On Wednesday, the Professional Football Writers of America (PFWA) announced it had selected Rodgers as NFL MVP for the 2020 season.

It is the third time the Green Bay Packers quarterback has earned the honor.

He was also named MVP in 2011 and 2014.

During the 2020 season, Rodgers completed 372 of 526 passes for 4,299 yards.

He led the league and set a club record with 48 touchdown passes and only five interceptions.

Rodgers is the 31st quarterback to win the award.

He will lead the Packers against the Tampa Bay Buccaneers on Sunday for the NFC Championship Game
