'Her health is stable,' informs Sasikala's nephew after hospitalisation
All India Anna Dravida Munnetra Kazhagam (AIADMK) leader VK Sasikala, who was shifted from the Central Jail in Bengaluru to the Lady Curzon Hospital after complaining of fever, is in a stable condition, as informed by her nephew in Bengaluru.
"I've reliable info that Sasikala's health is stable, doctors are looking after her.
She is being monitored properly.
She needs oxygen due to some secondary infections.
Doctors still deciding on whether CT scans are required or not," said TTV Dhinakaran, nephew of Sasikala.
The 63-year-old leader was a close associate of former Tamil Nadu chief minister, late Jayalalithaa.
She has been serving a sentence in a disproportionate assets' case.
Nation remembered former Tamil Nadu chief minister Jayalalithaa on her 73rd birth anniversary. Prime Minister Narendra Modi paid rich tributes to the former AIADMK veteran for her services to people. Tamil Nadu Chief Minister K Palaniswami and Deputy Chief Minister O Panneerselvam paid floral tributes to Jayalalithaa. AIADMK marked the occasion by organising state-wide events like medical camps, etc. VK Sasikala and TTV Dhinakaran also paid floral tributes to 'Amma' in Chennai. Born in 1948, Jayalalithaa served five terms as the CM of Tamil Nadu between 1991-2016.

A giant structure of Lord Rama has been created by an organisation in Bengaluru. Rashtra Dharma trust has placed a structure of the Almighty near Lalbagh West Gate in Bengaluru city. They have used total 60,000 coins of Re 1 and Rs 5 to create this masterpiece. 60,000 coins worth the value of around Rs 2 Lakh has been used while creating the structure of Lord Rama.
