All India Kisan Sabha general secretary Hannan Mollah said that they learned a "lesson" from today's violent incident that happened in Delhi during farmers' tractor rally. "The sabotage in Delhi today is done by the enemy of the farmers and has been not done by the farmers. It is part of their planning. We condemn this incident. From today's hooliganism, we have learned a lesson. In future, such people should not get a chance to enter the movement, we went through the movement in the peaceful manner," Hannan Mollah said.
Speaking to ANI in the national capital on January 22, general secretary of All India Kisan Sabha, Hannan Mollah spoke on upcoming government-farmer talks. Mollah said, "There isn't much expectation. Government made proposals, which we took to the leadership and general body. After discussion almost unitedly, they rejected proposals. Government must understand movement's mood and work accordingly."

According to the statement, accused Sonu studied till class second and started selling illicit liquor and gradually started selling heroin for quick money. He has been previously involved in 8 cases. Accused Dinesh was trapped in a bad company and started committing crimes and got involved in two cases of robbery and theft. In due course of time, he started consuming heroin and started selling heroin to feed his addiction. He has been also previously involved in 3 cases. The Crime Branch has seized heroin of 300 grams and 270 grams from both the accused in two separate raids.

Farmer leader Rakesh Tikait took a jibe at the central government while announcing plans to meet cultivators in the state of West Bengal. The Bharatiya Kisan Union spokesperson said that since the Union government was going to Kolkata - a reference to the campaign for the upcoming Assembly elections - farmer leaders would also visit the state to hold meetings.
