Google to redesign mobile search with new interface
The American multinational technology company Google is soon going to roll out a new design for its mobile search results.
The tech giant is redesigning the search engine interface on mobile devices.
The changes are intended to simplify how search results look.
According to The Verge, Aileen Cheng, who led the redesign, in an official release announced on Friday, "We wanted to take a step back to simplify a bit so people could find what they're looking for faster and more easily." The redesign will focus on having larger and bolder texts which will help to scan the data easily.
The results of the search will also be occupying more width of the user's screen.
Not only this, but Google will also be modifying the colours of the interface to help highlight important information without being distracting.
Additionally, the upcoming design will put more data on the top of the page and reduce the visual clutter.
This will help the users in easily searching the required data without scrolling down too far for the same.
As per The Verge, the Google upgrade will roll out in the coming days.

28 Google workers have been fired for protesting
a $1.2 billion contract that the company has with
the Israeli government and military to provide
cloud and AI services, NBC News reports. .
The firings follow an April 16 sit-in at
Google's offices in California, New York and Seattle in which nine workers were arrested.
The group that coordinated the demonstration
is known as No Tech for Apartheid. .

Google to Settle Lawsuit by , Destroying Billions of Private Browsing Records.
In 2020, Google was sued by numerous
users who claimed that the tech giant
secretly tracked their internet use despite
browsing in Chrome's incognito mode.
The plaintiffs claim that this allowed
Google to be an "unaccountable trove
of information," 'The Guardian' reports.
To settle the lawsuit, Google has agreed
to destroy billions of private records.
The company will also update
its "private" browsing disclosures. .
Additionally, incognito users will be
able to "block third-party cookies for
five years," 'The Guardian' reports.
The result is that Google will
collect less data from users’ private
browsing sessions, and that Google
will make less money from the data, Plaintiffs' lawyer, via 'The Guardian'.
While Google supports the settlement, it
does not agree with the "legal and factual characterizations" put forth by the plaintiffs.

1 billion people use RCS each month.
