A suspicious device was found in Sector 63 area of GautamBuddha Nagar. Police has cordoned off the area on January 22. Bomb Disposal Squad (BDS) has diffused it. Speaking to media, Commissioner of Police in Police Commissionerate of GB Nagar, Alok Singh said, "We cordoned off the area. Expert teams reached here. Prima facie, it appears to be neither an explosive nor a detonator. Bomb Disposal Squad (BDS) diffused it."
Prime Minister Narendra Modi virtually inaugurated Madar-Rewari section in Western Dedicated Freight Corridor (WDFC) to the nation. The PM also flagged off world's first double-stack long-haul 1.5-km-long container train from New Ateli-New Kishangarh. The New Madar-New Rewari section of the WDFC is 306-km-long. Out of this, 227 Km is situated in Rajasthan and 79 km is situated in Haryana. Under the Eastern Dedicated Freight Corridor (EDFC), 1875 km of railway lines are being laid from Ludhiana to Sonnagar and Sonnagar to Dankuni. While the work of laying 1506-km-long railway line from Dadri to JNPT is being done under the Western Dedicated Freight Corridor (WDFC).
Uttar Pradesh government's proposal for an international airport in Ayodhya has been approved by the Centre, informed Chief Minister Yogi Adityanath on February 26. "UP government's proposal for an international airport in Ayodhya has been approved by the Centre. About Rs 1,000 crore have been allocated to the district administration. The central government has disbursed Rs 250 crore," said CM Yogi.
