As the farmers' tractor rally proceeded from Delhi's Swaroop Nagar, locals showered flower petals on their arrival.

The tractor rally is called by farmer unions on Republic Day against the new farm laws.

Heavy security has been deployed in and around Delhi to maintain law and order.

Today country is celebrating its 72nd Republic day.
