Protesting farmers clashed with the Delhi police at ITO in the national capital during their tractor rally.

Police had to fire tear gas shells to control the protesting farmers who deviated from the route that they had agreed to follow.

Videos from the area showed farmers & cops clashing with each other.

Protesters were also seen vandalising buses and breaking barricades set up by the Delhi police.

These chaotic scenes come as India celebrated its 72nd Republic Day.

The farmers have been demanding complete withdrawal of the three farm laws passed by the Modi government in 2020.
