Sourav Ganguly discharged from hospital after fresh round of angioplasty

BCCI president Sourav Ganguly was discharged from Apollo Hospital on January 31.

Sourav Ganguly underwent a second round of angioplasty on January 28.

On January 30, the hospital informed that Ganguly’s vital parameters were stable.

Two more stents were implanted during the surgery conducted by a team of doctors.

DR Rana Dasgupta, CEO, Apollo Gleneagles Hospitals, Kolkata, said, “He (Sourav Ganguly) is a normal patient.

He is absolutely alright and he has gone home with his family.” Ganguly was hospitalized for the 2nd time in a month due to his cardiac condition.

On January 2, he was admitted to Woodlands Hospital after he complained of chest pain.

The National Investigation Agency (NIA) apprehended two suspects - Mussavir Hussain Shazib and Abdul Matheen Taha - in connection with Bengaluru's Rameswaram Cafe blast case on Friday.
