Red Fort violence evoked similar reactions as Capitol Hill raid: MEA

The Ministry of External Affairs on February 04 said the violence at Red Fort during farmers' tractor rally on Republic Day evoked "similar reactions" in India as did the Capitol Hill raid in Washington on January 06.

"India and US are both vibrant democracies with shared values.

Incidents of violence and vandalism at historic Red Fort on Jan 26 evoked similar sentiments and reactions in India as did the Capitol Hill incident on Jan 6 and are addressed as per local laws," said Anurag Shrivastava, Spokesperson, MEA while addressing a press conference in the national capital.

If your symptoms are severe, or if you experience diarrhea and dehydration for more than three days, the CDC recommends contacting your health care provider
