Myanmar military arrests opposition leaders at night amid daily protests

Protests and civil disobedience campaigns continued in towns and cities across Myanmar as the country’s military continues to crack down on demonstrators and opposition leaders.

The military has also sought to limit access to the internet and news services and proposed a new cyber security law that observers fear could further limit the flow of information.
