Unnao case: Hope to get breakthrough soon, says Lucknow IGP

Last rites of the two girls who were found dead in their agriculture field on February 17 in Uttar Pradesh's Unnao district were performed on February 19 in Asoha village amid heavy security.

A team of Forensic Science Laboratory (FSL) also reached the crime spot for investigation.

While speaking to ANI in Unnao on February 19, IGP Lucknow Range, Laxmi Singh said, "6 teams have been formed, they have been given different tasks and further investigation is on.

SP Unnao himself is monitoring these teams. Post mortem report has revealed several things and we are heading in the right direction." "We hope to get a breakthrough soon," IGP Lucknow Range added.
