Garcia goes on to say that he was wrongfully classified as an independent contractor, which "deprived him of healthcare and overtime pay," according to 'The Hollywood Reporter.'. The suit also claims that Garcia could not work for anyone else and was required to have 24/7 availability. His contract was terminated in 2023, which he claims was retaliation for complaining about harassment and pay. Plaintiff grapples with mounting anxiety, depression, and physical distress stemming from the toxic work environment, compounded by the trauma of unpaid work, Via lawsuit.
