WB polls 2021: ISF's talks continue with Congress over seat sharing

The newly formed Indian Secular Front (ISF) of Furfura Sharif Cleric Abbas Siddiqui on February 26 expressed desire to fight upcoming West Bengal polls with Congress.

"We wanted to share seats in West Bengal, as we will face loss if there's a vote split.

So it will be good if we fight together.

We've got 30 seats as per our choice.

With Congress seat-sharing stand still not clear, talks still on," said Abbas Siddiqui, Indian Secular Front.

Surat (Gujarat), Feb 26 (ANI): Aam Aadmi Party (AAP) Convener and Delhi Chief Minister Arvind Kejriwal met newly elected corporators of the party as well as its volunteers, in Surat.

Delhi CM Kejriwal is in Gujarat to thank the people of Surat as AAP bagged 27 seats in local body polls.

Hopefully, it will encourage all to get vaccinated." So far 62,30,249 beneficiaries have received the first dose of COVID vaccination and 7,64,347 have got the second dose. 2,815 new cases were reported in Gujarat on April 03 taking the COVID caseload of state to 13,298.

Most cases in Gujarat concentrated in Surat, Ahmedabad, Vadodara, Rajkot and Bhavnagar. In MP, it is concentrated in Bhopal, Indore, Jabalpur, Ujjain and Betul," he added.
