On the occasion of 'Attukal Pongala', devotees thronged Attukal Bhagavathy Temple to offer prayers and perform rituals.

District Collector declared a holiday today and asked people to offer 'pongala' (a special dish offered to goddess Attukal Bhagavathy) at their houses.
