Tortoise is 121-year-old and resides in Nehru Zoological Park.

Tortoise is also known as the senior citizen of the park.

Galapagos giant tortoise is the largest living species of tortoise.

They roughly weigh around 417 kilogram.

Social distancing norms were disappeared and many were seen without masks. "There have been some violations in some parts of the city and we have been booking a lot of cases against such violators, especially in and around Charminar. Since 20th April night, curfew is implemented in Hyderabad city and all over Telangana. We have registered 698 cases for not wearing masks, 146 cases for not maintaining social distancing norms, 4 cases of large public gatherings, 253 cases of night curfew violation,' Additional DCP, South Zone Syed Rafeeq told ANI.

Nehru Zoological Park in Hyderabad makes special arrangements for animals to beat the heat

With temperature soaring, Nehru Zoological Park authorities have put in place a series of special arrangements like installation of water sprinklers and desert coolers to help its animals stay cool. "We're providing 50 coolers and we've covered the enclosures with grass. We are also feeding the animals with seasonal fruits," said S Devi, Curator of Nehru Zoological Park. This Zoological Park is one of the most iconic tourist places to visit in Hyderabad. It is also one of the largest zoos in the country.
