On the second anniversary of Pulwama terror attack, Central Reserve Police Force (CRPF) paid floral tributes to the 40 jawans in Lethpora on February 14. Several officers were present to pay homage to their slain soldiers. The attack on the CRPF convoy took place in Jammu and Kashmir's Pulwama district on February 14, 2019. Days later India carried out an airstrike on JeM's Balakot terror training camp in Pakistan.
The Indian Air Force deployed a chopper for fire-fighting operation in Uttarakhand. It carried out the operation in forests of Koti Colony area of Tehri Garhwal. The water collected from Tehri lake was sprinkled with a 5000-litre capacity bucket. The IAF has also sent another chopper for the fire-fighting operation. Uttarakhand is witnessing unprecedented forest fires, officials informed. Forest fire activity is generally reported in Uttarakhand from February to June. IAF Chief Marshal RKS Bhadauria also reached Colombo to mark his presence at the event. Bhadauria is on a two-day visit to the island nation on an invitation from SLAF Commander. The Sri Lankan Air Force celebrated its 70th anniversary on March 2, 2021. SLAF is conducting an air show from March 3-5 to commemorate the occasion.

An encounter happened in Pulwama on April 02 where three terrorists were gunned down by the police. Kashmir IGP, Vijay Kumar said, "When we interrogated, we got to know that three terrorists have been hidden in a house in Ghat Mohalla area. Then, the firing started at 04:30 am. Militants wanted to get out of the house but they failed to do so as security forces retaliated. Then encounter started in which three terrorists were gunned down."
A group of pilgrims going to visit Gurudwara Shri Panja Sahib, Pakistan on the occasion of Khalsa Sajna Diwas (Baisakhi) would get their passport after mandatory COVID-19 test to travel. Shiromani Gurdwara Parbandhak Committee (SGPC) secretary, Mohinder Singh Ahli said, "437 people have been granted permission to visit Pakistan on the occasion of Baisakhi. Pilgrims will visit all major Gurdwaras including Nankana Sahib. All of them have tested negative for COVID. They'll leave tomorrow and will return on Apr 22."
The Congress in Maharashtra on Wednesday slammed the Centre for rejecting the demand to open COVID-19 vaccination for more age groups and accused it of adopting a non-cooperative attitude towards the state, which is the worst hit by the pandemic in the country. State Congress president Nana Patole said the Centre and the BJP will have to face serious consequences if adequate doses of COVID-19 vaccines are not provided to Maharashtra, which is in the grip of a raging second wave of the pandemic.
