BJP chief JP Nadda while speaking to ANI in Guwahati on April 03 claimed that Assam has made up its mind to support BJP-NDA and people have made a one-sided decision in phase 1 and 2. "I see huge crowd in my rallies, entire Assam has decided to vote for BJP-NDA. We'll form govt here," he added.
A media vehicle, which was a part of BJP leader Suvendu Adhikari's convoy, was allegedly attacked in Nandigram's Kamalpur on April 01. The vehicle was attacked near booth number 170. Suvendu Adhikari said, "These are work of Pakistanis, 'Jay Bangla' is a slogan from Bangladesh. Telangana Governor and Puducherry Lieutenant Governor Tamilisai Soundararajan cast her vote at a polling station in Virugambakkam in Chennai on April 06. Congress leader Karti Chidambaram also cast his vote at polling booth number 276 in Tiruppathur in Sivaganga district. 234 seats are undergoing voting in the state today.
