Actor Kangana Ranaut has said that while she takes interest in matters of national importance, she has no connection with politics at all. ‘For me, the world of politics is quite unknown. If today I talk about the country, nationalism, farmers or laws which directly affect me, I'm told that I want to become a politician. They ask why do I talk about nationalism, why am I so concerned to talk about farmer’s law. They have a problem with that. (When they want to talk about issues) They can say whatever they want, but how dare I speak? They were so hurt and pained,’ Kangana said. The Central Government has given permission to Haffkine Institute to produce Bharat Biotech's Covaxin. CM Uddhav Thackeray thanked PM Modi through a tweet by CM office, Maharashtra on April 15, "The Dept of Science and Technology, Government of India, has granted approval to Haffkine Institute to produce Bharat Biotech's Covaxin vaccine on a transfer of technology basis. The annual Urs Mubarak of famous Sufi saint Hazrat Sheikh Dawood Sahib (RA) popularly known as Batmol Sahib (RA) observed with zeal in Srinagar. Devotees thronged the shrine wearing mask to offer prayers. The devotees including women, men, children, and old were seen paying obeisance and offering special prayers at the shrine. "I want to say that he is one person who has made me feel good about my talent. Especially the kind of camaraderie they show with the male hero, they never show with an actress. But I learnt from him, how to treat actors and how to show creative partnership," she said. Later, at a press conference, Kangana also explained why she broke down. Thalaivi features Kangana in the role of late former Tamil Nadu chief minister J Jayalalithaa and is slated to release on April 23.
