As the National Investigation Agency's probe into the Mukesh Ambani bomb scare continues, CCTV footage of main accused Sachin Vaze surfaced. The footage, dated March 4 at 7 pm, reportedly showed the suspended police officer going to the Chhatrapati Shivaji Maharaj Terminus in Mumbai. He was dressed in a shirt and trousers. The following day, i.e. March 5, Mansukh Hiran was found dead in Thane. He was the owner of the car found with explosive near Ambani's house on February 25. Watch the full video for more.

In the latest development in Mansukh Hiren death case, a CCTV footage has surfaced purportedly showing Sachin Waze going to Chhatrapati Shivaji Maharaj Terminus at 7 pm on March 05. Waze had taken a local train to Thane that day. He was brought to CSMT on April 05 for scene recreation. Officials from Pune's Central Forensic Science Laboratory (CFSL) were also present. Waze is an accused in the death case of Mansukh Hiran, the businessman who owned the explosive-laden car parked outside Mukesh Ambani's house Antilia on February 25. Body of Mansukh Hiren was found at Kalwa creek in Thane on March 05.

New revelations come to fore in the Ambani explosives case. The National Investigation Agency which has been probing the Mukesh Ambani bomb scare case, has revealed that arrested Mumbai cop Sachin Vaze's personal driver drove the explosives-laden Scorpio and parked it outside 'Antilia' on February 25. The NIA investigations have also revealed that Sachin Vaze was driving the white coloured Innova that tailed Scorpio before the latter vehicle was parked outside Mukesh Ambani's house.

Suspended cop Sachin Vaze was taken by a National Investigation Agency team to the Mithi river bridge in Mumbai in connection with the Mukesh Ambani bomb scare case. He directed divers to various spots in the river, and the latter were able to recover a laptop, car licence plates, 2 CPUs, and 2 DVRs. Vaze has been accused of orchestrating the bomb scare outside Ambani's 'Antilia' residence, planning to eventually solve the case and restore his reputation. Last year, he gave 19 vanity vans to Mumbai Police and this year he already gave 12 of his vans and is planning to give more vans. The COVID-19 vaccine went out of stock at BKC Jumbo vaccination centre in Mumbai on April 20. The boards reading 'vaccine out of stock' were put up outside the vaccination centre. Dean of BKC Jumbo Vaccination Centre, Rajesh Dere said, "We had 350-400 Covishield doses, we've administered it. We're awaiting more doses. Around 2000 Covaxin doses are available for second dose that is being administered. We have received information that we will get the Covishield doses by this evening. If that happens, we will begin vaccination tomorrow. We realised last night about the shortage of Covishield doses." Mumbai Police made announcement for the general public, outside BKC jumbo vaccination centre to not gather at the gates of the centre.
BJP leader and Leader of Opposition in Maharashtra Assembly, Devendra Fadnavis, has alleged that Mumbai Police on April 17 arrested a remdesivir supplier whom BJP had approached to supply the anti-viral drug to the state amid the surge in COVID cases. Fadnavis said, "Four days ago we had requested Bruck Pharma to supply us (Remdesivir) but they couldn't until permission was given. I spoke with Union Min Mansukh Mandviya and we got FDA's permission, but at about 9 pm, police arrested him (supplier)." LoP visited the police station where the supplier was held. "DCP told us that they received inputs that some exporters had 60,000 vials and wanted to verify the same. We showed them permission letter. He (DCP) said it wasn't communicated to them. Whatever happened was wrong," said Devendra Fadnavis.
A goods train, carrying 6 medical oxygen tankers left for Delhi from Rajkot's Hapa station on May 08. A total of 129.86 tonnes of liquid medical oxygen have been sent by Reliance Industries, Jamnagar. Train will cover a distance of 1105 km to reach its destination. So far a total of 724.21 tonnes of liquid medical oxygen have been sent to various parts of the country by 9 Oxygen Express trains by Rajkot Division.

Investors said the strong quarterly earnings season have been supportive but poor progress on the vaccination front dented market sentiments. The BSE SandP Sensex closed 465 points or 0.95 per cent lower at 48,254 while the Nifty 50 tumbled by 138 points or 0.94 per cent to 14,497. Except for Nifty PSU bank which jumped by 3.4 per cent, all sectoral indices at the National Stock Exchange were in the negative terrain. Among stocks, Tata Consumer Products dipped by 4.3 per cent to Rs 648 per share and Reliance Industries lost by 2.1 per cent to wind up the day at Rs 1,918.

At the closing bell, the BSE SandP Sensex was down by 64 points or 0.13 per cent at 48,719 while the Nifty 50 edged lower by 3 points or 0.02 per cent to 14,634. Sectoral indices at the National Stock Exchange were mixed with Nifty private bank slipping by 1.1 per cent, PSU bank and realty by 0.6 per cent each and financial service by 0.2 per cent. But Nifty FMCG rose by 1.1 per cent. Among stocks, Titan dropped by 4.5 per cent to close at Rs 1,423.70 per share. Index heavyweight Reliance Industries dipped by 1.9 per cent to Rs 1,956 per share.
