Hopeful of NSD branch opening in JandK soon: Chairman Paresh Rawal
National School of Drama (NSD) Chairman Paresh Rawal on March 06 expressed hopes of the prestigious drama school's branch opening soon in Jammu and Kashmir, saying that the region offers rich culture, and if an NSD starts functioning there, the Kashmiri youths, both boys and girls, will get a motive in their lives.
The BJP MP, while praising the NSD, said had he been an alumnus, he would have been a better actor.
The Indian National Congress (INC) unveiled the list of 27 star campaigners on Saturday for the Jammu and Kashmir region. Among them are notable figures such as party president Mallikarjun Kharge, Sonia Gandhi, Rahul Gandhi, and Priyanka Gandhi Vadra. These influential leaders are set to spearhead the party's campaign efforts in Jammu and Kashmir during the upcoming Lok Sabha elections, which are slated to take place across five phases. The comprehensive list of star campaigners for the parliamentary elections in Jammu and Kashmir was formally presented by INC general secretary KC Venugopal to the Secretary of the Election Commission of India.
