Watch: BJP Vs TMC over attack on CM Mamata as protests rage in West Bengal

A war of words is underway in West Bengal over the attack on Chief Minister Mamata Banerjee in Nandigram on Wednesday.

BJP leader Kailash Vijayvargiya said that the election commission should release the details of the CCTV footage and added that it is surprising the Chief Minister was attacked despite her security cover.

Trinamool Congress MP Drek O’Brien hit back and condemned statements questioning the authenticity of the attack on the Chief Minister.

He further added that those who were behind these attacks should be brought to book.

Meanwhile, Trinamool Congress supporters held protests in some parts of the state.
