Delhi Police arrested two auto lifters Saddam and Suhail in North-East Delhi.
Both belonged to a Meerut-based gang.
Saddam and Suhail used to steal the vehicles from Delhi-NCR, hide them at safe places and then sell them one by one in Meerut.
A police team had received a tip-off regarding the movement of two auto lifters of Meerut gang coming near Gokulpuri flyover.
Accordingly, a trap was laid on Gokalpuri Flyover.
Police apprehended both Saddam and Suhail when they couldn't provide valid documents after being intercepted by the police team.
After sustained interrogation, they disclosed their association with the Meerut Gang of auto lifters and also admitted to their involvement in multiple cases of auto lifting.
