The ongoing Road Safety World Series 2020-21 is being held at Shaheed Veer Narayan International Cricket Stadium in Raipur.
Ahead of the final league match of the T20 tournament between West Indies Legends and England Legends, India Legends-led by Sachin Tendulkar arrived at the stadium and hit the nets to prepare for the semi-finals.

Former Indian cricketer Sachin Tendulkar got hospitalised on April 02. He was tested COVID-19 positive on March 27. Sachin informed about it on his Twitter handle and wrote, 'Thank you for your wishes and prayers. As a matter of abundant precaution under medical advice, I have been hospitalised. I hope to be back home in a few days. Take care and stay safe everyone'. The former batsman recently played in the 'Road Safety World Series'.
In an exclusive interview with OneIndia, Saif Hasan Naqvi - who was the physio of the India Legends team during the World Road Safety Series 2020-21 in Raipur - talked about former India cricketer Sachin Tendulkar's love and dedication towards cricket. Naqvi - who has worked with several IPL franchises in the past - said he was amazed to see how Sachin's work ethics inspired other India Legends players to give their best on the field.

Five days after testing positive for COVID-19, legendary India batsman Sachin Tendulkar has been hospitalised for "abundant precaution under medical advice". Last Saturday, Tendulkar had informed that he tested positive for coronavirus and added that all other members at his home have returned a negative COVID result. On Friday, he tweeted: "Thank you for your wishes and prayers. As a matter of abundant precaution under medical advice, I have been hospitalised. I hope to be back home in a few days. A consignment of 25 boxes of Covishield vaccine arrived at Raipur from Mumbai. Following Chhattisgarh High Court orders, the stare government had commenced vaccination drive for citizens between 18-44 age groups. The state required vaccines in order to continue the vaccination process.
India is fighting with 2nd wave of coronavirus currently. Meanwhile, BJP MLA Brijmohan Agrawal offered helping hand in an effort to beat COVID-19. He has converted the hostel of an engineering college into a COVID-19 care centre in Raipur. The 200-bedded COVID-19 care centre offers free of cost service of food, medicine, oxygen, yoga training, etc. Around 50 medical staff has been recruited to look after the patients. The COVID-19 care centre got opened on April 20.
