Ambassador of Paraguay to India, Fleming Raul Duarte requested for supply of COVAXIN, the COVID-19 vaccine by Hyderabad-based 'Bharat Biotech' and also heaped praises on India for its vaccine diplomacy.
"India is a very important supplier of vaccine in the world.
Vaccine diplomacy is really well here.
We are requesting India to supply us a good quantity of doses of vaccine.
We have been requesting COVAXIN, launched by the Indian lab 'Bharat Biotech'.
We are talking about at least 1.2 hundred million doses," said Fleming Raul Duarte.

The Central Government has given permission to Haffkine Institute to produce Bharat Biotech's Covaxin. On the second day of Ramzan month, people visited Mecca Masjid in Hyderabad on April 15 to offer early morning prayers. People without masks won't be allowed and sanitizers have been placed in the Mosque premises. "Use of sanitizers and masks is compulsory to enter the mosque and people are instructed to sanitize themselves before entering the mosque and after leaving," he added.
