Hindu Yuva Vahini put up ‘no entry for non-Hindus’ banners in temples in Dehradun.

Reports suggest banners have been put outside 150 temples in Dehradun.

A case has been registered against the person whose number is mentioned in the banners.

The banners were later removed by the local police after controversy.

Hindu Yuva Vahini state vice president Sanjay Mehta said, “We have done this for the security of our mothers & daughters.

Some people from different religions create nuisance in temples.

Such people can’t enter temples; they have nothing to do here.

Those people should go to mosques which is their place of worship.” Watch the full video for more.

Tribal tea garden workers in West Tripura organised a Hindu wedding ceremony for two frogs, this tradition is called 'Banger Biye.' This uncanny custom is carried out as the workers believed that it would appease the Hindu rain God, Lord Indra and thus bring rainfall, which would save them from the drought-stricken condition of their tea garden. In the marriage, 2 toads were married performing all the rituals from bath in pond or river to new dresses, exchange of garlands, and applying of vermilion.
