Sub-inspector Prashant Kumar's family mourns his death in Bulandshahr

A police sub-inspector Prashant Kumar Yadav was shot dead in Agra on March 24 as he went to solve dispute between two brothers.

Prashant Kumar's family mourned his untimely death and was in deep shock after the incident.

Family demanded jobs and double compensation after his death.

Government had assured Rs 50 lakh as compensation and a job security for a family member.

I have directed SP of Agra to start investigation in the matter. This is a very serious matter. Police's duty is to help them and we are helping everyone as much as possible. We'll investigate and will take action against those who are accused in the matter. I also want to add that Agra Police is working really hard during COVID-19 pandemic," said Agra ADG Rajeev Krishna.
