3 Myanmerese injured in firing in Tamu, hospitalized in Manipur

Three Myanmar nationals injured in an indiscriminate firing by Myanmar security forces in Tamu have been admitted at Imphal JNIMS hospital for further treatment.

Of the 7 injured, three Myanmerese were admitted to a hospital in Moreh, but as their conditioned worsened they were shifted to Imphal with the help of volunteers and Moreh Police officials.

Security measures have been tightened along the Myanmar border in Manipur to check influx of foreign nationals amid unrest in neighboring country.
