‘My polling agent not allowed to enter booth’: BJP candidate Bharati Ghosh

Former police commissioner and BJP candidate from Debra constituency Bharati Ghosh alleged that her polling agent was not being allowed to enter a polling booth in Nowpara area.

She alleged that her polling agent was gheraoed by goons and said that similar incidents were also happening in other areas.

‘In Barunia, voters are getting threatened.

They are getting threatened before entering the booth.

The election commission should ensure free & fair elections,’ Ghosh said.

Voting is underway in a total of 30 assembly constituencies from the districts of South 24 Parganas, Bankura, Paschim Medinipur and Purba Medinipur.
