In order to make women self-dependent, the Army is running skills development training centres for women in the district of Jammu and Kashmir.

Experts at women empowerment centre are training Kashmiri girls in different arts like tailoring, embroidery and other Kashmir arts.

Centre aims to create a sustainable skill development program which will facilitate employment of girls.

Beneficiaries hailed Army's initiative to empower women.
