Union Minister and BJP leader Prakash Javadekar lashed out at Maharashtra government over extortion allegations against Anil Deshmukh and Sachin Waze case. "It is clear that Maharashtra's Maha Vikas Aghadi (MVA) is actually 'Maha Vasooli Aghadi'. Its common minimum programme is 'collect money through police'," said Prakash Javadekar.
Shiv Sena leader Sanjay Raut has said that there is a political conspiracy behind arrested cop Sachin Vaze naming Anil Parab in his latest letter. ‘There have been efforts from day one to topple the Maharashtra government. The faces of those who are trying to topple the government are coming to light. A new trend has come to light wherein people who are in jail write letters. People in jail write letters and they are considered as evidence,’ Raut said. Shiv Sena leader Sanjay Raut came forward to defend Maharashtra Minister Anil Parab over the allegation levelled by Sachin Waze, and said no Shiv Sainik can take false oath in the name of Bala Saheb Thackeray. "A new tactic has come to light wherein people who are in jail write letters. This is a political conspiracy. I know Anil Parab, he can never indulge in such work. I can assure, no Shiv Sainik can take a false oath in Bala Saheb Thackeray's name," said Raut.

The Special Court today extended the National Investigation Agency (NIA) custody of suspended Mumbai Police officer Sachin Waze till April 7 while also directing NIA to provide all medical aid to Waze. Waze is an accused in Mansukh Hiren death case. Waze was in NIA custody till March 25, for his alleged role and involvement in placing the explosives-laden vehicle outside the residence of Ambani. Later his custody was extended till April 3.

As the National Investigation Agency's probe into the Mukesh Ambani bomb scare continues, CCTV footage of main accused Sachin Vaze surfaced. The footage, dated March 4 at 7 pm, reportedly showed the suspended police officer going to the Chhatrapati Shivaji Maharaj Terminus in Mumbai. He was dressed in a shirt and trousers. The following day, i.e. March 5, Mansukh Hiran was found dead in Thane. He was the owner of the car found with explosive near Ambani's house on February 25. Watch the full video for more.

Indian Army, under the aegis of Dagger Division, recently organised a free medical camp for people of old town Baramulla in North Kashmir. The Army organised the event 'Sadbhavana medical camp' in collaboration with Rotary club Pune and Borderless World Foundation. Number of doctors including gynecologist, eye surgeon and physician participated in the event. In the camp, 634 people turned up from adjoining areas of Baramulla and availed the facility. The aim of the camp was an outreach to alleviate the medical problems of the local populace and to build mutual trust, confidence and codependency between awaam and the Army. A medical check-up was conducted and medicines were also distributed among people. Sudarshan Natu, president of Rotary Club of Pune and organiser, said that he is part of a 17-member team who are on the fourth day of medical camp in Jammu and Kashmir with three other camps in the previous three days."The camps in all four places received an overwhelming response which makes me happy and we thank this place for that," he said. Dr Anushree Goswami, an eye surgeon said, "The response was very good. Medicines were given and those who are in need of spectacles were given those for free. We are very happy."Parvez Ahmad, a local resident said, "It is a very good initiative and very beneficial to the public. These type of camps should be done in the whole valley."
Family members of COVID-19 patients protested outside District collector office by sitting on road demanding supply of Remdesivir injection for the patients. The shortage of Remdesivir injection has created panic among the family members of the COVID-19 patients. "My father is hospitalised for last 6 days, his medications haven't begun completely. He's in ICU. I've looked for Remdesivir in all cities," said a family member. "Hospitals are saying we are not responsible for patient's condition otherwise they have to go on ventilators. So, arrange the injection from outside. We are not getting the injection as the black marketing for the injection is going on. The helpline number provided by the administration for Remdesivir injection supply either does not connect or they end up providing some other helpline numbers, all are fake," said another family member.
