Etawah: At least 10 killed, several injured as truck falls into 30-foot-deep gorge
At least 10 people were killed and several injured after truck fell into a gorge in Uttar Pradesh’s Etawah.
A DCM truck was headed from Pinahat of Bah tehsil with passengers who were going to hoist the flag at Lakhna temple.
The accident took place on Udi-Chakar Nagar Road on Saturday.
“Several people, in a DCM, were going to Lakhna.
The truck lost balance and fell into a gorge.
Some people were below the truck too.
The rest have been rescued and are currently under treatment,” said BK Singh, SSP Etawah.
