Haryana Health Minister Anil Vij debunked all the questions rising on the shortage of beds for COVID patients in Gurugram and Faridabad districts. He claimed that about 70% of the patients in both the districts are from Delhi. Anil Vij said, "About 70% of the patients in Gurugram and Faridabad are from Delhi. Now patients from Delhi are also coming up to Rohtak, Karnal and Ambala, we are treating them. We have asked the Deputy Commissioners of all the districts to make extra beds in every district."
Haryana minister Anil Vij on Wednesday alleged that a tanker carrying medical oxygen for COVID patients in hospitals, which was going from Panipat to Faridabad, was ''looted'' by the Delhi government and said all oxygen tankers will now move with a police escort. Vij said that he has now ordered that all oxygen tankers will move with a police escort so that such incidents do not happen in the future. A lawyer lodged a complaint in Delhi against actor Swara Bhaskar, Twitter MD Manish Maheshwari and two others. The complaint was filed over "inflammatory tweets" on the assault on a Muslim man in Uttar Pradesh's Ghaziabad earlier this month.
