Amid the spike in COVID-19, 5th phase of assembly election began in West Bengal on April 17.

People were seen waiting in a queue at different polling booths to cast their vote.

Voting began for 45 assembly constituencies.

Voter Vanita said, "I came here early to avoid rush as corona is spreading so that I could cast my vote without aany fear Voting and protection from coronavirus infection is also compulsory."
