A mother sobbed as she described the “barbaric and inhumane” treatment of her autistic daughter while she was being cared for by the NHS.NHS worker Benji O’Reilly gave distressing evidence to MPs about the treatment of her teenage daughter who has autism and mental health issues.

The first flight carrying asylum seekers to Rwanda will leave in 10-12 weeks, Rishi Sunak said as he promised that “no ifs, no buts” the scheme would be put into operation.
